'Thakurbarir Sarodotsav' welcomes you to its third season in 2024. Through art, culture, and music, this event celebrates the wisdom, power and beauty of Goddess Durga. In the heart of North Kolkata, 'Thakurbarir Sarodotsav' brings together a range of artists, writers, performers, poets, and filmmakers amongst others, to pay homage to 'Ma' Durga over five days of performances, culinary experiences, and cultural productions. Our social mission emphasizes upholding the traditional values and culture of Bengal and the Bengali people, creating a space for the performance of Bengal's rural, traditional, and urban arts, honouring its practitioners and craftsmen. Through its focus on family-centric and community-building values, this performing arts festival has drawn the support of local corporations and family businesses alike. The festival is an excellent opportunity to celebrate and recognize the rich heritage of Bengal. It is also a platform for connecting people, promoting local culture, and creating a strong sense of community. This year, we are excited to bring together over 150 performers from across Bengal to showcase their skills and talents in Thakurbarir Sarodotsav 2024.
